From early on in your childs' life it is a wonderful time. As your child grows up they learn very quickly. They may or may not test you as a parent. Even at the age of 2 your child is capable to clean up after his/her self. Make it fun, don't discourage them if the toys/ etc. are not where you want them. Just compliment her/him on a nice job.
As the child grows older the task will be a part of their daily routine, remember they will have different taste in clothes, room decor, music, foods. By having the advantage of a radio, or cd player, let your child hear the music you like and you will sometimes be surprised by their reaction. Give your child a variety in your families daily life.
